Whether you've met
One visitor identity spans every link you own, so someone who clicked a different link of yours last week shows up as known, not new.
Visitors are pseudonymous. IP addresses are truncated before they are stored — the last octet of an IPv4, everything past /48 of an IPv6 — and the visitor identifier is a salted hash that never leaves this domain, so it can't be recomputed by anyone else or joined to another site's data. Recognised across your own links, never across other sites.
